Environmental Degradation is rampant, our governments are corrupted by money and special interests, our economies are in shambles, jobs are being overtaken by computers and machines, and people are struggling all around us, and the media distracts us at every turn. The solutions are here, but they are only implementable if we come together and support each other and our communities through empowerment and collaboration.
Introducing Community Saturdays. There is a lot of work to do, and a lot of decisions to be made. Yet what we need is time to come together, and a single hour here or there is NOT going to be enough to make the difference we need. We need an entire Day. So Saturdays seems to be a great day for that. We know that some of you already have plans, but do you have plans every Saturday. Are those plans more important than the future of our planet and children across the world? Please join us, if not every week, once a month, if not once a month, once a quarter. Whether you come for a single hour, or hunker down for all day, you can join us from anywhere in the world.
The foundation of our vision is empowerment and distributive systems. We always distribute power based on bottom up democracy where each individual is empowered to make decisions and help control the experience of our collective goals. We all together control the schedule and the agenda, and we together ensure that we hold each other and the leadership accountable through voting and elections of our internal boards and councils.
Through distributive fundraising we ensure that we can build the resources and get those resources out to a variety of projects and initiatives that will be essential to see our world transform the direction that will bring stability to our economies and communities. We know that the solutions are here, we just need to take action and start implementing them within the framework of data driven experimentation.
If you know of other bottom up democratic distributive networks or organizations, please let us know about them, but to our knowledge we are the only one in existence that you can call, join via video feed, or even come in-person, and start participating as an equal voting member. It is essential that we give this type of strategy the resources and energy it deserves as it is a viable option to solve the problems that plague our world.
